I love Nadal..

Thought I'd watch the US open final cos I can.

It started at 9pm my time and is still going.

I wasn't expecting it to last this long, but what a good fight his opponent is putting up, can see he is going to be an amazing player

Amazing tennis and fitting for the night before the funeral of a good friend who I used to watch tennis with.

She always backed Federer and me Nadal. I know she'd be cheering this opponent just to wind me up.

Come one Nadal get your mojo back !!

Who's that? Australians have always been wonderful sportsmen starting with Rod Laver. Metra fect I met John Newcomb and "muscles" Kenny Roswell in 1974 but unfortunately both their autographs have faded from my Wilson racket cover.

Nadal looks nasty and arrogant to me. Federer has a light sense of humour .... not that I know either of them personally, mind.

Look up Nadal rescues crying kid at US Open and you'll see how lovely and caring he is.

I just had a peek and .... oh, wait a sec while I dry my eyes .... OK, I'm onboard. I see that Super Brat wasn't bothered much though. He was more concered with chalk dust , "everyone could see that there was chalk dust"
