New Muffin the Mule Photo

Muffin the Mule, his real nightmare was ...

Back in the days when Men were Men

Women were Upper-class Presenters

and Wooden Marionettes were regularly Muffed on camera

Muffin the Mule entertained the Nation

A whole Generation grew up Terrified

Of having their Strings pulled by Authority

And thus was born the Sixties.

Honk for Muffin.

Bloody hell, I don't remember posting this thread at all. That's so worrying.

I was muffing before you got your first walnut whip, chockers.

:-2 Spot, you don't know what you have started!

Mentioned your posting to my OH and it resulted in hours of reminiscing about childrens tv.

We covered everything from Watch with Mother(Picture Book;Andy Pandy;Bill & Ben;Rag,Tag & Bobtail and The Woodentops), followed by Twizzle, Torchy Torchy the Battery Boy, Four Feather Falls, Noggin the Nog, Captain Pugwash, we even got as far as The Singing Ringing Tree.

Ah, brings back too many memories and reminds us that we are far too old for this!:-2

I so much liked Nogbad the Bad... Noggin was just a weed.

The raven was neat, too. Graculus.
