Good for them!

So many things lost, some are not tangible. I am finding memories that are lost for some tribes, it has been a very heartbreaking 2-3 weeks of research. Some things are not saved in the museums or Archives, and once they are gone, they are gone forever if The people themselves cannot remember them.

I remember seeing this in the museum.

BBC News | UK | Ghost shirt dances back

Repatriation does raise a lot of issues, as you can imagine britsh museums are full of stuff nicked from all over the world. Then again if they hadn't would they have survived at all? Seeing them in a museum brings history alive - if that makes sense. :-3
