Tybee Island
Is this a holiday resort or the scene of a massacre in the 18th century?

Tybee Island
I have been reading "Rough Crossings" by Simon Schama, and early on in the book he was telling of the Patriots attitude to Black slaves who absconded and joined the British, I had heard of Tybee as a resort and lo and behold it pops up in this book as to where a massacre of these unfortunates took place. i was just interested, it's a great book
