Are we our DVD collections? Even if we don't watch?

Post by Tombstone »

For many collectors, owning DVDs is becoming more important than actually watching them.

D.J. Fone, 51, counts among the 1,000-plus DVDs in his San Diego home the comedy In & Out, which shows his empathy for gay rights, and Thelma & Louise, which shows he is sympathetic to feminists. Also on his shelves: 1994 Oscar winner Schindler's List, still unwatched.
