I've watched Narnia because I was dying to see this.

It's a real kids film with a few bits that would scare the under 12's. Not bad.

Might go the cinema tomorrow :-6

We're off to the cinema over the Easter hols for my sons birthday treat.

We're going to see Ice Age 2!

I can't remember the last time I saw an adult film in the cinema! *sigh* :wah:

Donny Darko. That is one hell of a film. And then the whole plot is written off by one change to the past. Thought-provoking. I'm gonna have to watch that again.:-3  :D

It's one of those films you have to watch several times to catch all of its meaning. On top of this, its meaning is relative to you the viewer. And, it's entertaining too.

I've only watched it once and that was several years ago, but I will get myself a copy so I can watch it again. if you watch it, you will see what Snooze means by intelligent.

I saw it. Wasn't impressed, but maybe I wasn't in the right mood. It seemed they slowed the pace down to build suspense, but it was only slow.

And Dej, turn your volume down (caps lock) :p

That's probably the best movie of 2005, of course David Cronenberg is my all-time favorite director. Viggo Mortensen and Maria Bello were incredible. And that scene on the stairs *fans self* Hot, hot, HOT!!!

SnoozeControl wrote: I bought the director's cut of Donny Darko and watched the special features. One of them was a video by a self-proclaimed Number One Fan that created the vid for a contest that would include having the short put onto the DVD, etc. It started out kind of funny, but it eventually became pretty clear there was something very wrong with the guy. Its impossible for me to describe it, but if anyone gets the chance, take a look at it. :-3

After reading this thread, I rented the Director's cut and watched this vid. Yes, there is something very wrong with this Number 1 fan  Very obsessed.

He reminded me of Annie Wilkes in MISERY :yh_nailbi :yh_hypno

Welll I watched Chronicles of Narnia, and have to say I loved it. But I swear some of the queen's army looked like creatures from Lord of the Rings. Wonder if the same make up artist worked on both movies.

I also watched In Her Shoes with Shirley McClaine, Cameron Diaz, and Collette ??(she was Murial in Murial's Wedding) It was a really good movie about sisters. :D
