Thats a line from the main character in this film. Hes a Pakistani man transplanted to NYC to join a terror cell. Prior to his metamorphasis he was merely an intellectual supporter of jihad. He spent 3 yrs in a French prison unjustly accused of terrorist crimes and after he was released he went through a radical transformation.

The film follows his personal struggle trying to reconcile between his humanistic reasoning and his present task at hand to kill innocents to further his cause.

Interesting film.
