I have to comment on this one. I hate football, hate watching sports on TV, got ticket to this by mistake and sooo glad I saw it! I could not believe I even stayed to watch it. It is a true story about high school football in texas and how in a small town how much pressure is put on these kids, and the New Coach in town-all the politics, sons of past winners that don't pan out, ones that think they have it made, etc. Great movie about raising kids in senior year-especially if football is all the town has to offer-I was so impressed! Billy Bob stars as the coach-he was very good-never seen him in this type of movie-kept forgetting it was him. I was so impressed at the end when the two teams battle for the State Championship-have to see to realize the impact.
