Let us know what you think of it.

Why not? Is Alexander that good? Brad Pitt yeah?

Actually, the history was pretty good in Alexander-the chronology of the story should have been kept straight. A little heavy on the sexual side of it, but I think they relied on some fictional works of Alexander for that. As for actors-you know them better then me, he was better then Richard Burton!

Let me know how the New World shapes up-from the Native American viewpoint too!:)

I wish the movie moved as fast as that ship above is sailing. OK, it wasn't all that bad, it is basically a love story but it reminds me of one of those TV commercials with the operatic music in the background and all these beautiful shots of the wilderness and then these camera shots of the stars with these brooding looks. I kind of enjoyed it but I don't think I would recommend shelling out the bucks to see it at the theater. I wish I would have seen "Munich" instead.......however the Lasagna at Fenway's afterwards was a thumbs up!

I dare say much myth and legend has been used as it clearly was in the disney version

It wasn't Even all that IMO.....it was just a bunch of long brooding looks back and forth......lol

I had to come home and read up on pocahontas......

Historically the movie isn't......the girl that played her was 14 years old when they filmed it......there are no real love scenes in it either.......I liked it enough that I would watch it on dvd when it comes out.

Plot Summary for Firewall (2006)

With his family held for ransom, the head security executive for a global bank is commanded to loot his own business for millions in order to ensure his wife and children's safety. He then faces the demanding task of thwarting the kidnapper's grand scheme, which makes him look guilty of embezzlement.

That sounds like status quo Harrison Ford movie doesn't it? They could make a movie someday about Harrison Ford playing this sort of part. lol!

Then it sounds pretty good, SCT. I might see when it comes out on DVD then.

That is interesting you live near wher Pocahontas was buried, Arnold.

I wonder what they would have done with her remains? Send them home, or study them?

I thought it would be that. Legend here says she asked for her father when she was dying.
