What is the absolute worst movie, or one that you cannot stand, that you watched?

I cannot stand Bridgett Jones. I was in my 30's and married when this movie was a first-run. Bridgett Jones is in her 30's, and she acts like such an idiot. I thought it was really an insult. She doesn't know how to act with men. She acts like a juvenille teenager, and here I am -- or was -- a married woman her own age watching this piece of trash and feeling like whomever wrote the story obviously didn't know many 30-something women. Bridgett Jones is a freak!

Have to agree with OS on this one, if there's a movie that is just rubbish after 20 minutes or so then it's straight off. In general terms, I'm really not a romantic film kind of guy, so any romantic movies are a big no-no for me.

That batman film with Arnie in it, you know where he plays Dr. Ice or something. Its truly truly awful, not even interestingly bad, just utter crap. In fact its so bad, it should be used to teach aspiring film students what not to do on just about every level in films. I hate superhero films anyway, but someone payed for me to go, and I still walked out after about an hour, whch I never do in films, even bad ones. Oh wait, I walked out on XXX, which I knew was gonna be nonsense anyway, but there was this girl who liked Mr. Diesel, or Mr. Petrol or whatever his name is, and i was on the make, so.

There are too many bad bad films really to think about, but those 2 stand out cause I actually saw them in the cinema.

I agree with Gal about XXX-boring! My husband likes that film, has the DVD-a sure way for me to leave the room for 2 hours. The Batman film-yeah it stunk, but Arnold is always the best! What a hunk!:-4

Give a grade B science flic from the 1950s-at least their funny!

[QUOTE=SnoozeControl]I LOVE this movie, I even have it on DVD. Hugh Grant, first seen exiting an elevator, with a rather reptilian leer on his face. Colin Firth, all prim and proper, just like his Mr Darcy role in "Pride and Prejudice" (which I also own on DVD.) And granted, Bridget's not the perfect movie heroine, but she's more realistic than most. Although I'd hardly call lollypop head Renee Zellweger fat in the movie.

Its a bit girlie, but Bridget Jones isn't a bad film at all. I think she did a very good job of impersonating a Brit, which not all American actors can do very well. I certainly wouldn't call it a bad movie, you might not like it for reasons of taste, but its not particularly "bad".

I just love me some Sci Fi. :)

I love all that stuff too, but what about "Plan 9 from outer space"? Absolutely brilliant, or the original "The Thing" classic, classic stuff.

Well, maybe, it's a cultural difference-thing then, for the UK.

Here, in the US, I thought for a 30-something woman, Bridget Jones was an immature idiot. Like I said, I was married then and was close to her age. I took it as an insult that they actually believe that a 30-something woman acted like that, and I thought Bridget Jones was acting like a young 20-something just starting out. It was a pathetic portrait of a 30-something woman, I thought.

HBO's Sex In The City portrays 30-somethings much more accurately.

I remember one called "White Fang, the Hunter." It was after Dances With Wolves was released in the theaters.

When I was a teenager, a friend and I would get this movie, as well as one called "The Stuff," and watch them just to die of hysterics. These movies were so horrible that they were comical!

I have found that anything made by Lion's Gate is going to be a grade B movie and not such a good one. I've seen many not so good movies by Lion's Gate. The effects are bad. The acting is bad. Usually, the cast has no chemistry either -- blah!

More worst movies eh?

Hmmmn...well.

Jerry McGuire, is it possible to be more painfully sentimental?

Miss Congenialty 2. I havn't even seen it and I don't care.

Mission to Mars, I wish they had crashed on Venus.

Anything with Jean Claude Van Damme in it, or even mentions him.

Lay off "Attack of the Killer Tomatos" that is a work of sublime genius, I am currently writing a script entitled "Revenge of the enraged Tulips" it will be a work of monumental importance to modern cinema.
