Hourra!!!!!!!

Just got the last table for a fine French feast tomorrow - Thurs 19 November - to welcome the new wine... I'm off to a meeting, but will share the menu with you later.. and we can all drool.

Yuk ! Pam, Bojlis noovo! Sorry Mrs but I just don't like Bojlis at all ! Can't you smuggle some good vino in to enhance your delicious repast? Shame to spoil good food with bad vino !:lips: But enjoy anyway, bon apetite (or whatever the saying is :wah:)

This is our menu


Escargots

Oysters Natural with Champagne Vinaigrette

Red Spotted Whiting with Parsley Sauce and Crab

Roast Loin of Veal with Pea Puree and Morels

Camembert with Fig Paste

Baked Saffron Peach with Fresh Raspberries




There will be various wines but of course the beaujolais will be the star. Drinking the first wine of the season is not even so much about the individual wine. I'm not that much of a beaujolais fan normally. But this is a celebration of the harvest, of prosperity and of life!!

I'm looking forward to it, enormously.
