No sympathy please guys just prayers.

I didn't want to put this on as a thread but I have been a little grumpy of late due to the news that two new shadows have been found in Mr O's lungs.

He's been in the x ray department all day and now due to the area of pain, they believe the cancer may have returned in his bones which is very common after advanced prostate cancer.

The next two weeks he will be in and out of various hospital departments under-going more tests.

He is not at all well with severe chest pains and back pain.... Fatigue plays another large part.

I will try to visit FG as much as usual but please bear with me as I've been a little lax in answering messages and being my usual jolly self.

Well, we've been here before 3 years ago and they were very skillfull at getting all the cancer out that time. It had grown out of the prostate into the bladder, bowel, euretha etc so he was lucky to have one marvellous surgeon. They always gave him a very high risk of it returning as it did last year but was contained, as they can not get cell level out. We have a marvellous Doctor and the Oncology Departemnt in Bristol just can not be faulted. I also get counselling if I want It which I think is a good thing. The Oscars are very good at fighting and when we've finished fighting, we fight some more.

Thankyou to all of you for your lovely good wishes. Also for the private messages and e mails I have recieved. I am over-whelmed bu every-one's kindness.

Pete has been in hospital all day having more X rays and scans. Now, it is the waiting game again. He finds the fatigue the worst. The Oncology department is marvellous and doing all they can.

Glad you survived it Lon. I'm afraid Pete had very little symptoms years ago and the surgeon believed his tumour had been in there for 12 years before he felt any pain.
