Guess this flower!

Post by Range »

Well I thought of a game for this forum and it's a very fun and challenging one.

Basically I post a picture of a flower and one of you have to guess it, the first person who gets it right posts a flower and the game continues.

I put the image on download so you cannot cheat and find where I got it from (right click > properties > view source).

Anyways first image :

Have fun and good luck to you all.

It's because there is a gap between the http:

and the URL.

So make sure the URL doesn't contain a space when you copy and paste it.

I had this thread on another forum that no longer exists... it was quite popular, too. Let me sort through all of my garden pics and see what I can stump y'all with so we can continue Range's thread. :D

Button-hole cabbage? :wah:

I've got something like that growing between my toes at the moment, if you put it under a microscope. The disinfectant turned it that colour.

It does look kinda' like a cosmos... it is a prairie flower, but a cosmos has eight petals. This is a popular herb whose roots are used for medicinal purposes. It also shares the name of a popular confection that used to use an extract from the roots of this plant.

Nope, it's not star anise, but this herb is good for digestion. This is a perennial herb commonly found near marshes.
