Live in a small cottage. Not much lawn...and the dog's are killing it off with their urine.

Any suggestions ... apart from teaching the dogs to use the toilet!

If its a small area... Kill off the rest of the grass. Mulch the whole area, and put in a few stepping stones.

Are they your dogs? If you dilute the area as soon as they go, it'll actually help the grass. If the dogs are just loose all the time, I'd guess you're sunk.

Weeder and ACC have the right ideas... a garden hose kept handy will

let you dilute right away, if that isn't possible, the mulch/stepping stones

can look very nice and solve the problem.

Dogs can be taught to use just one spot instead of going all over, taking

them out on leash is a start. I created "Big Dog Potty Spots" in my yards.

Lots of nice green grass and one designated area. Makes for easier

clean-up.

I agree, dilute as soon as you can. i find the only time my dogs kill the grass is when the females are in season , you can also get different types of grass seed that will stand up to the doggy treatment....:-6 :-6

Do you have city water or well water? What water are your dogs drinking?

I used to live in the city and my dogs drank water from the tap-which has chlorine. The dogs killed the lawn. When we moved to the country and now have well water, and I have a beautiful lawn.
