I used to pride myself in not watching many series/ TV shows. I still don't consider myself as a "couch potato" but I do enjoy several series on the premier channels as well as some on local channels.

I just binged watched Homeland and Game of Thrones within the past few months. I didn't understand the hype about Game of Thrones, but now I do. In a word DRAGONS!!! lol

I watch several other shows, what are some of your favorites?

We like watching mystery and detective shows, and some brit comedies we found on Netflix.

Some of our favorites,

Mysteries

The Murdoch Mysteries - Canadian show filmed in Toronto. Set around the turn of the Century (20th)

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries - Australian - set in the post WWI Australia

Death in Paradise - British - Set in the Caribbean.

Inspector Lewis - British - set in Oxfordshire, UK

Foyle's War - British - Set through WWII in Hastings, UK

Comedy -

Doc Martin -

The Detectorists

Gotham; This is Us; The Vikings; Project Runway; on Netflix-Orange is the New Black. That's just part of my current watching, off the top of my head.

Game of Thrones; the Sopranos--all time Best.

The Killing was amazing. Brutal, but amazing.
