Who are your favourite cartoon characters?

I have to admit to a liking for

Montgomery Burns (Simpsons)

Some of Gerald Scarfe's characters leave a lifelong impression. If anyone remembers the Tory cabinet member Reggie Maudling, whose corrupt fingers-in-the-pie approach to personal finance was a disgrace to the nation, Scarfe's cartoon is a fitting memorial...

I always liked the work of Charles Addams, originator of the Addams Family.

And the work of Charles Rodriguez.

I like the Simpsons.. Homer reminds me of my dad.. I must say my dad is a little smarter :wah: .. But now he has quit smoking, he is really starting to look like Homer. Leave anything edible around, and he has eaten it in a blink!

If anyone's not yet found Randall Munroe's work at xkcd.com it's well worth browsing, he's the most interesting cartoonist on the web that I'm aware of.

My two favorite animated cartoon characters are Foghorn Leghorn and the ever manic Yosemite Sam!

Peanuts was always a favorite comic strip of mine and "The Far Side" was always good for a laugh too.
