You can find out how well prepared your state is for any contingency that would fall under the realm of public emergency. Virginia received an 8 out of 10 which was somewhat comforting but begs the question of what the deficit of 2 represents.
Historically, most of Virginia's state of emergencies have tended to revolve around flooding and hurricanes. I hope it stays that way!
