Biochemist Kills Husband By Stuffing Him, Alive, in Vat of Acid

LOS ANGELES, Calif. â€” A Los Angeles jury found a biochemist guilty Wednesday of killing her estranged husband by stuffing him in a vat of acid.

Forty-seven-year-old Larissa Schuster of Clovis was convicted of first-degree murder in the 2003 killing. She could face the death penalty.

Schuster's former lab assistant got life in an earlier trial.

Authorities say the two knocked out Timothy Schuster with a stun gun and chloroform and dumped him head-first â€” and still breathing â€” into a barrel before adding hydrochloric acid.

His partly-dissolved body was found at a San Joaquin Valley storage unit.

I never cease to be amazed by what people do to each other.But if he was still alive in the acid, she was going to kill him anyway, she could at least have killed him straightaway and not let him suffer, or maybe that was her intention?

She does look rather scary doesn't she?

Actually, but for the fact I don't wear makeup - she looks a bit like me.

Maybe, but her expression tells me she might be putting things in the wrong place, where as I do believe you know the right places to put certain things..

Does anyone know what he did to her??? She must have hated his guts to do that.I think divorce would have been the better option,or maybe he had a good life insurance policy.I find it hard to accept that women are capable of such things,but it's true some are.
