How was "Our Freedom" defended (after 9/11)?



In solemn memory of the devastation of the 9/11 attacks, of 15 years ago, I thought it proper to start a thread on its effects on the world, society, and especially "Our Freedom".

Immediately after the 911 attacks, President GW Bush said that "our freedom" had been attacked and that "our freedom" would be defended.

In order to defend our freedom he then took it away and locked it up tight (The Patriot Act).

Freedom is not like gold. You can't protect it in a vault.

European Physicists, US and Canadian Architects, Engineers: WTC 9/11 was controlled demolition

European physicists, architects, and engineers have joined US physicists, architects, and engineers who have investigated the destruction of the three World Trade Center towers and found the evidence points to destruction by controlled demolition, not airplane strikes.

“It bears repeating that fires have never caused the total collapse of a steel-framed high-rise before or since 9/11. Did we witness an unprecedented event three separate times on September 11, 2001? The NIST [U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology] reports, which attempted to support that unlikely conclusion, fail to persuade a growing number of architects, engineers, and scientists. Instead, the evidence points overwhelmingly to the conclusion that all three buildings were destroyed by controlled demolition. Given the far-reaching implications, it is morally imperative that this hypothesis be the subject of a truly scientific and impartial investigation by responsible authorities.”

Entitled “15 Years Later: On the Physics of High-Rise Building Collapses,” the investigation was conducted by Steven Jones, a former professor of physics at Brigham Young University; Robert Korol, a professor emeritus of civil engineering at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada and a fellow of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering and the Engineering Institute of Canada; Anthony Szamboti, a mechanical design engineer; and Ted Walter, author of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth’s Beyond Misinformation: “What Science Says About the Destruction of World Trade Center Buildings 1, 2 and 7.”

TEL AVIV – The Saudi press is still furious over the U.S. Senate’s unanimous vote approving a bill that allows the families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia. This time, the London-based Al-Hayat daily has claimed that the U.S. planned the attacks on the World Trade Center in order to create a global war on terror.

"September 11 is one of winning cards in the American archives, because all the wise people in the world who are experts on American policy and who analyze the images and the videos [of 9/11] agree unanimously that what happened in the [Twin] Towers was a purely American action, planned and carried out within the U.S. Proof of this is the sequence of continuous explosions that dramatically ripped through both buildings. … Expert structural engineers demolished them with explosives, while the planes crashing [into them] only gave the green light for the detonation – they were not the reason for the collapse. But the U.S. still spreads blame in all directions."

Ahh, the dilemma. Does one give credence to conspiracy theories and be considered a kook, or reject them and be considered naive and gullible?

The evidence (what wasn't able to be purposefully destroyed by cover-up specialists) is fairly compelling in this case, as it was at the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, and as it was at Waco (Branch Davidians) and in many other instances.

The fact that government does horrible things is impossible to refute, but most people simply ignore it. They've been taught that whatever government does is okay because "we elected them..."

Of course, it isn't the nefarious agents and provocateurs that get elected. But they do get their power and authority through the chain of command that starts at the ballot box.

The ultimate responsibility for government induced evil is on the heads of those who do it, those who support it, and those who vote them into powerful positions. As long as there are powerful positions and people in them, there will be horrible abuses of power. That is just the way the system works. And those who abuse the system will always blame the victims.

Really, it's not my fault -- because I don't vote.

I oppose terrorism and murder. Both major candidates and both major parties support terrorism and mass murder, through war and other evil means. They mean to be in charge no matter whom they have to kill.

Voting for (or against) any of them is being an accomplice to their policies of terrorizing and murdering those with whom they disagree (and anybody who gets in the way of their munitions).
