Secret chamber may hold key to mystery of the Great Pyramid

Amateur French Egyptologists on track of 'lost' tomb of Cheops

It is one of the seven wonders of the world, but the precious objects the Great Pyramid was built to shelter for all eternity - the mummified remains of King Cheops or Khufu - have never been found, and are presumed to have been stolen by tomb robbers. Now, 4,500 years after it was completed, this semi-mythical structure may be about to reveal its greatest secret: the true resting place of the pharaoh.

French Archaeologists Find Mystery Passage In Great Pyramid

Upon reading the article from the posted link I found that they actually have NOT discovered another chamber (room) only that there are indications that one may exist. That’s the first misconception. Having studied the known history and some additional, not widely published information about the "great Pyramid" I can say that there are major differences of opinion regarding its purpose and origin.

Some facts.

There are no chambers that would be suitable for the type of burial the Pharohes

had in mind. ( they are just not large enough)

It is the ONLY true pyramid ever made on this earth. That is one that is mathematically accurate. It is also the largest complete pyramid in existence.

Its age has be carbon dated at more than 12000 years . Older than any structure of its type still standing. As much as they would like to claim - no one has been able to prove that we could make a duplicate of it today with our existing knowledge or technology.

Many believe that it was never meant to be anyone's tomb. but was made as an initiation site. but that’s a whole different subject

The celestial calculations contained within its dimensions boggles the mind

even if you accept that it was built around 4500 years ago.

I have to agree with those experts that hold that there are no other chambers to be discovered and many others that believe it is much much more than a tomb.

"believe it is much much more than a tomb." Perhaps it has a Stargate. Okay probably not but it is still a great show.
