Yes...experimenting with new ad placements. Supporters and Premium members don't have ads.

now do you mind if i ask,, i had a look at the home page where it says find out more about becoming a supporting member,, is it still up to date or will there be any changes there, i do realise you are still working at all the upgrading etc, so this could be different at some point.

If I could make a suggestion, putting the PM limit up from 5 to at least 50 would please a lot of people. It has a significant effect on the site's functionality, and the premium aspects are better seen as frills. Members are meant to support for the warm glow they get. Doing it as part of the upgrade would be neat.

oh i wasnt inferring about the ads..:wah: but on the list there are some things there that i have even though im not a paying member,,:-3 (kaz wonders if saying that was a good idea :-2)anyway thats what i meant when i asked if there was going to be changes regarding it. Have we lost the pages that dealt with top posters,last 24 hrs, last 7 days,etc till total posts made since joining, compared with other posters. We used to be able to click onto those pages from the 'Home' page, so has it been discarded?

Is the upgrade finished yet? I'm trying to find the most recent posts of various Gardeners through the Advanced Search & can't find anything later than 2005.

It can't be done yet, we all still get tombstones threads when we hit 'my topics'

I can barely see our icons, some are missing and when you click on 'more', you can no longer read what it says in the green.

lots more to do I'd say.

He is probably spending the weekend with his family.

Found info on this. This is a bona-fide bug. No fix for it yet.

You can, however, go to that person's profile and then click on find all posts.

Until they get this fixed....the search for posts from specific users will not be fully working.

When I do this, I get their posts for today, and then it goes to 2005. Nothing in between.

Anybody else missing icons? And...regarding uploads - I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe first try reseting your cache by hitting F5.

I think they are all there, these are quite faded and you cannot tell what what some are.
