Great and thanks..
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.

Yeah I think it will help to stay on subject, as opposed to alot of individual responses.

At the side of the "originally posted by xxxxx" it now says "view" - a clickable link to the original post in full.

Why? How do you use it? I noticed it before this psot, and have been removing

it! I thought it was in by mistake...

Edit: Have just tried it. Hmm. Maybe proper quoting would be at least as good,

however this might help some people, so I guess it is perhaps a plus.

Edit, after posting #14: Pantaloons. Pants. Knickers. Oh, OK, just testing, 1 2 3.

It will take you directly back to the original post so that you can see, not only if the quote has been tampered with but also the context in which it was made.

OK it only tells you, as an outside observer, whether one of the posters is playing games rather than which. Both posters will, of course, know exactly who's editing what.

Um. Google cache, or similar, may be useful - and the fact that the thing has

been edited at all? Anyway, "whatever", as Youth are fond of saying. I must away.

I figured it out, but it won't make much difference to me because I

quote entire posts usually.

And Bryn, when you say "it nows says "view" you must realize I don't

know these things very well, (and maybe others here don't) but

you have to hold the mouse arrow over the little arrow for it to SAY

"view post". Right? I'm not trying to belabor it, but people say things

that non computer savvy people still don't get.

Hm, that one was in response to Bill's asking how it worked.

On mine it says View and you can just click on it. When you hover over it, you are asking for help and it shows "view post as a prompt telling you what it does but you don't need to hover to use it.
