Whilst at college, Unc took a part time job at the, Dudley Road Maternity Hospital, in Birmingham. The post of "soap boy" was too much to resist.

However, he did get into trouble a few times for allowing his artistic side to shine through. Instead of the requisite, "clean shave area"

Unc was fashioning "that" area into the shape of a heart. ......
