I've been thinking of doing a photo documentary of where I live for awhile.

AF thought it would be fun so let's do it.

My reasoning for this is that I find this town quite bizarre.

It's pretty much all rednecks. The real dumb kind.

What's strange is that even the "successful" people are nothing but phony's They're still dumb rednecks who drive Corvettes.

There are some who work at Harris Corporation and Nasa that I run into occasionally and have an intelligent conversation. Other than that?

Welcome to Gooberville.

Here's 1 block north of my apartment. gas stations, auto repair, pawn shop (yes, they know me by name), the never ending train tracks........

But no hookers, homeless, or crackheads to be found.

There must be a homeless hooker crackhead convention in Orlando today.

Now my backyard is another story. This is where I go to watch the Shuttle launches. I spend alot of time here in Pineapple Park. Reading, watching the sailboats and dolphins. There's a playground here as well. One of Jack's Favs. It's usually nice and peaceful. At least until the goobers decide it's picnic time.. "Yup! I got's me twenty dollers! Let's go to KFC and bring it to the river so's we could throw the bones in and feed the fish!":-5

Just across the Eau Gallie bridge on your right in the pic above is Satellite Beach.

Yeah, I know. Very creative. While not my favorite, the place I go for a quick beach fix is Canova Beach as it's the closest. Just two minutes from Pineapple Park.

The entrance.

And the beach proper.

There's not many cars. Not many people at the beach either, what time of day did you take the pics?

That was about 4 pm?

It's a Christian town. Sundays are very quiet.

It's flatter than my first girlfriend.

And Jimbo! That ain't nothing like what I seen on the beaches in South Florida!:D

Give me the goobers and rednecks any day if that's the kind of scenery I'd get!
