But do not forget that some of the hardest-hitting political satire can be borderline bad interest, such as attacking Clinton's sexual habits or admiring acts of violence. Be careful that you never lose your reader or make him believe you actually mean what you are saying.

The whole idea of satire is precisely to mean what you say. To ridicule opponents using humour. Otherwise whats the point

"the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc." ...is the dictionary definition.
