In general terms Beto should be Beato Up . What a sanctimonious prick he is .

But of course women should be given access to these gender appropriate products .

But say it as it is .

Men do not menstruate and therefore the idea of a Menstrual Equity Act is garbage .

So many people trying to turn matters into validation PR campaigns .

The Importance of Lyrics in Music.

Post by Claude-fus »

Songs with meaningful lyrics can truly resonate and evoke deep emotions. They have the power to shape our thoughts and memories in profound ways. Do you believe that lyrics hold more weight than the melody itself? Could a song's message be so powerful that it outshines its musical composition?

This is not a thread I'd ever expected to resurface, to be honest.

"truly resonate and evoke deep emotions" has 26 hits googling tiktok so presumably there's a bot associated with the spam aspect.

But... message or medium? Mcluhan's paradigm-shifting question. Great book back when I was at school, generated a lot of talk.

And reasonably enough there's two answers. If the words are repetitive crud then the music dominates, because the message is reduced to a drumbeat accessory.

If on the other hand the words create a coherent storyline then they can equal the weight of the medium. That's the thing to aim for. That's prog rock, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Clive James. Timeless combination with the music.

I'll find one or two...
