Irish Communities have protested to the British government about racial harassment and discrimination against Irish people living there. It is at its worse since WW11.

Interestingly enough, racial harassment and discrimination against *anyone* is illegal in the UK.

Now, I've been wondering for some time - do you live in the 'States? Several times I have thought you may.

Really? Have you seen the house prices in Dublin lately?, anyway, if they did they'd have nothing to complain about. Personally, I blame the Welsh.

Thanks Galbally, have us Welsh been buying properties in Dublin lately?

Seriously though, this is the first I've heard of this, does the report specify which areas in the UK that there is anti-Irish sentiment? I know that in Wales there are so many Irish but they've assimilated and are part of the landscape, no big deal! I'm 1/8th Irish myself.

it seems strange to me. The impression I get is that the irish are well loved. St Patricks day is celebrated with fervour whereas st andrews day gets barely a mention.

Im not saying racism is not a problem for any groups - its never ok, but i really dont think the irish as a group are victimised in general
