If he loves to race then the stunt driving might be fun for him. :-6

But like of each thing that in season grows. -Shakespeare

Hiya Bendybird :-6

I think you've got some excellent suggestions! You've clearly put some real thought into it, which is what makes *all* the difference. I'm sure your beloved will be psyched :-4

If he was a rally driver the fundamentals of rudimentary stunt driving might bore him. Thats really thoughtful though. I dont know about him but Im easy to please. Would he like a really great cologne ?

I love the story of all the animals you sponsor - thats such a fabulous idea!

This year, why not buy a goat or cow for a third world family?

They can feed their children healthy milk, butter and cheese and they can sell the excess at market to buy grain or flour etc.

A perfect gift!

I think Oxfam do an online catalogue if you want to have a look. :) :-4

And how about a day learning to fly a plane or a helicopter for Graeme?

Or even a parachute jump? Or hang-gliding?

Once he has parachuting off to a fine art he can do sponsored parachute jumps and use the money to buy cows and goats for third world families, etc. A self-perpetuating gift! hehe

Okay, that's you sorted out for the next coupla years! :wah:

How are you sweetie?

I haven't seen you around for a while and I've missed your pretty face and sparkling wit. Big hugs to you. :yh_hugs Glad you're back home with us again.

It might be a tad tame but what about hot air ballooning?

My hubby bought me a trip for a birthday once - fab! And you get a good view of the wildlife below which you don't scare away 'cos the balloon is quiet.

Rap already said parachute jump, but I was thinking more like "Buddy Sky Diving", say with an experienced Buddy Sky Diver! "Free falling" with the Buddy Sky Diver for a few thousand feet, then they pull the parachute!!! That I've been told by my friend who did it, is an enormous rush! Also possibly Bungee Jumping is a blast also, our younger daughter (never told us she was going to do it) did that, & loved that one! :)

*I have also adopted a dormouse for him at the local animal shelter - he saw a pic of dormouse in the paper the other day and he went all "awww looky at the perty mouse" on me! lol Our adopted animal list gets bigger every year!

We now adopt the following lol :-5

Polar Bear called Percy

Penguin called Sunny

Tiger called Shnookums

Orangutan called Shorty

Giant Panda called Peter

I could name the little ikkle animals we sponsor as well but the ones above are recent. We have a thing about animals.......................

Every year we do a something for animals and hand it to each other as a gift. It might be a voucher or a certificate but if it means animals get something from us then we are happy.

OK now I really have to get off this subject coz I sound like I am preaching! sorry all :o

This is wonderful Wendybird! I too sponsor some pals. An elephant and a red wolf and my first, a manatee.

It's not preaching. Never apologize for helping an animal.
