To me all here are either boys or girls. We never grew up, you know. If you say you are an adult. It`s either you are an immature or mature adult. Is there such a thing as an immature or mature boy or girl?

What I get from this discussion between rajakrsna & spot is that rajakrsna never admits he could be mistaken about anything.

Why should I admit I`m wrong & why should I admit you are right? There are many instances when a thing proven earlier to be true later became false. The only thing I am convinced I am not mistaken is the reality that God is present in everyone`s heart as the Param-Atma or Supersoul. & when I say my conscience is clear it means the Supersoul is not making me feel guilty of the things they say I am wrong. What we really can not afford committing a mistake is in the realm of mathematics. & this I will admit I am mistaken if proven by someone my calculations are wrong.

I suggest you buy a dictionary.

Why? The dictionary is wrong. Besides, I think he thinks in a sort of parable, the meaning of which is clear to him.

Any meaning of "boy" or "girl" which refers to an adult is surely a very specialist term. "Best Boy", for example. Of course the words exclude adults, what on earth do you mean by "the dictionary is wrong"? What do you think "man" and "woman" are for?

How will an adult call his/her groom or bride to be? Manfriend, womanfriend, girlfriend, or boyfriend?

'The dictionary is wrong' was sarcasm, since I had just said that he never admits he is wrong, therefore the dictionary must be wrong. ;-)

Here`s an example of what I`m implying say my name is Dick. I look at myself bare in front of the mirror. The image I greet with this sentence, " Hi Dick how are you today?" Who do you think I was referring to? Me or the one below? ( ... as Dick stood rigid as a flag pole in front of me )

I've never used any of those words, I consider them all demeaning. Friend is perfectly adequate but the word you're specifically looking for is either "Fiancé/Fiancée" or "Betrothed".

I do not speak french and the word " Bethrothed " sounds like " be true ". The latter is conditional which means to be truthful. Truthful to what did I say? That for better or for worse we should live together as husband & wife? That when worse comes to worse I have to accept my wife`s been cheating on me? Or I have been cheating on my wife for years without her knowing it? & for the word " friend " that I could be your " beast" friend?

The Film is being released soon: Clod Almighty, coming to a cinema near you!

Oh, and don't send me your money - I plan to make a fortune on merchandising and spin-offs: The Clodfather is due in production this year, and you'll soon be able to buy your very own personalised clod at at store near you.
The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"

Lone voice: "I'm not."

You had trouble believing that Britain was free of rabies, if I remember. There's been a case this week in London, it's sufficiently unusual as to be newsworthy in the national press. As with all such cases the disease was contracted abroad and the traveler flew into the country already infected.

BBC News - Rabies case confirmed in London

"More than 55,000 people are thought to die from rabies each year, with most cases occurring in South and South-East Asia. Professor David Brown, a rabies expert at the HPA, said only four cases of human rabies acquired from dogs, all from abroad, had been identified in the UK since 2000".

Okey. UK is rabies-free. I`m so glad. My grand baby Max`s in London & I wont worry if he gets bitten there by a puppy.
