The Rising.

I haven't written much new poetry in the last year or so as I have been concentrating more on novel writing, but here's one I wrote last year.

I am not religious but I am spiritual. I am not psychic but I do feel vibrations. I am a child of the Universe. I am an Indigo living in the wrong place at the wrong time. These words came to me a few minutes past midnight on January 1 2010.

The Rising

Even as the last of the twelve chimed

To herald the end of nine and the start of ten,

I gazed up at a fire-lit night sky

And I thought I heard the Cosmos cry a warning:

“The Evil is rising!”
