The Pugilist’s Rhyme

Post by polycarp »

Took he a decision rash

And spoke words harsh

On how his opponent would be bashed

Never expecting to be thrashed

Until he was lashed

His jaws were smashed

The eyes saw a flash

And down he crashed

Pride became trash

With hopes for cash dashed
A formula for tact: "Be brief politely, be aggressive smilingly, be emphatic pleasantly, be positive diplomatically, be right graciously".
