Islands of clouds

Like oases of hope

Just like young lovers

With a breeze they elope.

Following whims

And chasing dreams

Digging for treasure

When anything gleams.

A casual glance from

Each passerby

Elicits no more than

a whimsical sigh.

Chasing the wind

In frolick and play

It may seem that they

Waste their lives every day.

But lovers and clouds

Have beheld with their eyes

The wonders that dawn

With every sunrise.

Their folly appears

Much wiser, indeed,

If you realise that love

Fulfills every need.
