Without You

Post by polycarp »

Like a year

Stretches every minute

That passes without you

The breezes may blow alright

How non-soothing their feel

When you, my eyes see not

Non-stop the birds may chirp

Like a dirge it all does sound

When far from you dwell I this day

Colorful as the rainbow hues

The blossoming flora may be

Yet, how unsightly they are to me

Without you to make them real

How slow time doth crawls

How empty the world does seem

When Miles separate you

From me!
