Yes, one of my friends is a children's book writer with moderate success in Ireland and the UK, he has three published at this stage I think. My advice would be to find a good publisher, and an agent, how you do this I have no idea, I would suggest getting your manuscripts into people, and start getting some word around, use any contacts you know in any relevant area and ask them for help, good luck with it.
