It hurts...

Post by ilona17 »

Soo this is an other one of my poems i've written.

I really like poetry, and it's really the only way that i am able to express my self.

I have noticed not many people leave replies.. which makes me kind of sad, because i like to know what people think and if they can relate to what i've written.

Anyways thanks to anyone who reads it and leaves a reply.

I hope you like it. :)

It hurts not holding you.

It hurts not showing you.

Because I miss you.

And I so badly want to do all the things we used too.

But you threw my love away.

You treated it carelessly, like it didn’t matter anyway.

And now that it's over, there’s nothing left to say.

And every time I get mad, it’s because a part of me still wants what we had.

The worst part is that I know I have to let you go.

In my heart I don’t want too.

But I don’t know what else to do.

Me and you are through, there’s nothing left that we can do.

And I know you still love me to, but you have to see this is best for me and you.

I know you never meant too.

But you made me feel like a fool.

For ever trusting and loving you.

And now I’m so lost and confused, not knowing what to do.

I’ve never lived without you, and it’s all a bit scary and new. this feeling of not holding you.

One day, when it’s all said and done.

And you’ve found somebody else.

You’ll know that we were never meant to be.

You’ll be so happy, never even thinking about me.

I hope that’s what you get.

Don’t live your life with regret.

Just learn a lesson from everything

Then one day you’ll figure it out.

You’ll know just what life and love is all about.
