Passing Through Canada Again

Post by femwolf100 »

A book I latched onto in my younger days contained these words: "Pain shared is pain spared." Yes, Spider Robinson's wisdom, a Canadian speaking to a then teenage American. Now, some thirty some years later, I join with a world in mourning, wondering what, if anything, could be done to ease the sorrows of six heroic families. I can only imagine what they must be going through. In the States, tears have been falling, but what good is it doing the bereaved? Word of "the tragedy of the Mounties" has left us in shock and sadness. So with deepest respect, I'm just going to ask: Is there anything WE can do?
