A book I latched onto in my younger days contained these words: "Pain shared is pain spared." Yes, Spider Robinson's wisdom, a Canadian speaking to a then teenage American. Now, some thirty some years later, I join with a world in mourning, wondering what, if anything, could be done to ease the sorrows of six heroic families. I can only imagine what they must be going through. In the States, tears have been falling, but what good is it doing the bereaved?
