My prediction wasnt too bad.

All you have to do is add that 13 that you said they were going to be limited to,And a pathetic attempt to save face for your 2 point conversion, add 1 for the Bad guys.

Well,

Will the Minnesota Vikings Sit Daunte Culpepper and go with Brad Johnson this week to face the New Orleans Saints,or will they gamble "short stacked" Daunte???

It will be interesting to see who they go with.

Brad Johnson's stats in 03':354/570 for 3,811 yards and 21 interceptions with a QB rating of 81.5

Daunte Culpepper's stats for last 2 games:43/70 for 469 yards and 8 interceptions with a QB rating of 41.6

Who would you start???

Glad Im not Tice. :-3  :-3

Vikings Grading High After Day One Of Draft

The Minnesota Vikings addressed their biggest need of the present in the first round of the N-F-L Draft, then traded up to address their biggest need of the future in the second round.

The Vikings picked Iowa outside linebacker Chad Greenway with the 17th selection of the first round, giving them the playmaker they badly need at the position.

In the second round, Minnesota picked Texas cornerback Cedric Griffin and New Mexico center Ryan Cook before trading up to get a third pick in the round.

The Vikings gave Pittsburgh both of their third-round picks to move up and take Alabama State quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.

Jackson threw for more than 78-hundred yards and 67 touchdowns in three seasons with the Hornets.

Ok the Vikings just fired the guy they just hired to draft. He lied on his resume. Everybody is saying our draft picks were less than brilliant. I have high hopes for 2007 though. :-5 :-1

After playing for the East Dayton Vikings( My little league team), I have to say that somewhere deep down inside of me I will always admire the Purple and Gold. Much do to the fact that this is the same color our uniforms were when I played. Our team was the New England Patriots of my time. Everyone looked to beat us as we usually went undefeated. I was running back and inside linebacker, I averaged a touchdown a game and was always good for atleast 6 tackles. God Damnit I miss them days.

But when it comes to the Black and Orange vs. the Purple and Gold only one thing comes to mind and thats..........

WHO-DEY

WHO-DEY

WHO_DEY think dey gonna beat dem Bengals!

PS: The doctors are saying he is right on schedule(as far as training is concerned) to start the opening game. You know what that means............Pittsburgh Steelers wetting themselves!:wah:

Is this good news or bad news for Minisota?

"MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Wide receiver Koren Robinson was among eight players cut by the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, 10 days after he was charged with drunken driving and fleeing police. "

While I will agree, preseason does seem to drag on....

but the thing is, is somewhere during a shortened preseason, would still have the same amount of anticipation and waiting.....It all has to do with one being reminded of the season ahead, making them impatient...

so really, we all would be ready for the regular season to start, only if preseason were shorter, we would be anticipating the year in training camp as opposed to watching the preseason games. I think that would be worse.

Actually Minnesota has impressed me this year. Playing against the #1 defense in the NFL and a progressing offense in the Chicago Bears(Whom one the NFC North Title last year) is anticipated by no one. As I have said before, I believe the Chicago Bears are the best team in the NFC this year, so losing to them is not exactly something you should gloat over. I know they are in the same division as Minnesota, but considering that we are only in week 3, they still have a legitimate chance of making the playoffs. I will say this, if they expect to win that division, Minnesota is going to have to win every divisional game her on out and hope to have a better record than Chicago on the way. Any other result, and Minnesota is going to find themselves desperately fighting for a Wild Card spot heading into the end of December.

Only one team in the history of the NFL has gone undefeated --

So take one game at a time....

and be glad you dont have to face the Cincinnati Bengals :wah:

I feel your pain Scrat the Charges had many years of growing to get the group they have now. Your right they are all over paid big time. Seahawks for the most part has a good team just not on the money this season. Look at the Steelers 2-5 Superbowl Champs to 2-5 start.
They're playing the Raiders next week. If they don't win against them that will truly be indescribably pathetic.
