Blind Football

Post by Snowfire »

As if the astonishing exploits of the athletes weren't enough at the Paralympics, we have blind football.

There's a sound emitted from the ball to indicate to the players where it is and one guide off the pitch, to direct the players. The keeper is sighted. Just mind boggling. The video isnt from the London Games but it does show how brilliant it is to watch

Did you see the one legged high jumper ?

Or the swimmer with just half an arm ?

Truly amazing performances.
I thought I knew more than this until I opened my mouth

I've been blown away by it all. I watched that swimmer last night. Like a little propeller
