Website I cannot access

Post by YZGI »

I can not access a website that I have been accessing for years. Here at home neither my or my wifes comps will access it. I call my cousin, my son etc. etc. and they all can get right into it. It is a Kansas wrestling website with info on my kids all the time. The website is Kansas Wrestling . I have no idea why here at home on both comps I can't get into it anymore. I have been using this website for years, now only at home will it not work. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Thanks, I have done that a number of times. It's crazy, we were on it last week, now nothing. We need to print off some things from it and want to do it at home on a certain printer and suddenly the last two days cant get into it.

YZGI I got into the website via the link you gave, and there was no problem for me at all ! I am using Mozilla Firefox, maybe if you used Mozilla Firefox you may gain access.................. just a thought that you may be on Internet Explorer, which I have found to be rather unreliable, but that may be just me! In any case YZ a change of server may do the trick. Possibly spot could help you if changing servers doesn't help. Good luck !

Sometimes routers get old entries in the Routing table, and don't clear them.

Rebooting clears all the old entries, and you start with a fresh table.

in computers, and networking, 90% of all the things that make you say, "WTF", can be fixed by rebooting.

That is why when you call tech support, they have you reboot the router.

Then it's fixed, they can close the call and it looks good on their "time to Resolution" statistics.

And it's much easier than having engineering fix the damn thing.
The home of the soul is the Open Road.
