My son has just bought a house. He gets the keys in two weeks.

He's the last to leave not that he is going far but it means at last OH and I will be alone ...just the two of us.. by ourselves... wow never had that before.

Im quite looking forward to it truth be told:-6

I thought mine were homing pidgeons. Get married, move out, get divorced, move back in. Join army, home on leaves, get out of army, move back in, get jobs, move out, get laid off, move back in.:-3

Oh V that is so exciting.

I still have one to go, but when the oldest left I was a little sad (well circumstances were trying as well) but as time went on I got over it and it's wonderful now and so is our relationship.

Number 2 could be with me for decades....:yh_rotfl

Aw I shed tears too, my first chick was forced out sadly (if I could take time back I think it would be then)...

A quite house can turn out to be defening after time. The fact that your son will be within easy visiting distance, will make it perfect! Our Daughter & her family moved to Kansas City (1,400 miles aways) almost two years ago. So now, frequent visiting is not too practicle, as well as not to mention, it is very expensive. So enjoy you new found freedom, & still be able to enjoy frequent visits as desired! :)
