I just dont like their style or the musical content and the lyrics are juvenile and their general musical range is constrictingly limited and I dont get that pinball wizard business. I mean their what, 70, 75 yrs old and they still sing about pinball machines? I cant handle it but the light and laser show was remarkable.

I thought the best moments of the superbowl were the post game shots of Drew Brees with his son.

I suppose that shows what an old sap I have become.

As for the half-time show, I was in the middle of a conference call and had the sound turned down. My only impression was, "the old farts still have a touch of the magic."

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

Well, I'm just glad to see the boys still able to make music and have fun! I hope I'm still that spry when I hit their age! The lasers and the lights were awesome too. I'm glad that they didn't let people down into the field so that I could just focus on the show.

I love Rod Stewart! And a lot of the older groups. I saw the Beach Boys (2 of the originals) not long ago and The Vogues (2 originals & friends of mine) and others. Those guys were great! We just didn't care for The Who's music, and a couple of the people were Who fans.
