Playoff Picture

Pretty even matchups all the way around. No upsets here, just smash mouth football.

How are we picking them this weekend ?

NFC Wildcard Games

Sat. Eagles at Dallas 8pm Eastern

Sun. Packers at Cardinals 4:40 pm Eastern

AFC Wildcard Games

Sat. Jets at Bengals 4:30 pm Eastern

Sun. Ravens at Patriots 1:00 pm Eastern

Mine: God this is hard.....Dallas, Packers, Bengals, Patriots

I'm going out on a limb Eagles (I don't think Romo will show up), Cardinals (if Kurt Warner is on this could happen), Jets, & Patriots. I also think the Ravens could beat the Patriots but will go with the Patriots.:-3

I dont think picking the Eagles is going out on a limb.

Any of these teams could win.

Id rather play the Cowboys than the Cardinals though.

I noticed that three of these match-ups are repeats of last week match-ups.

'boys and birdies played last week, as did Pack and the cardinals, and Jets played Bengals.

All three games were decided by huge spreads.

This week, I suspect all will be close.

My picks:

Eagles, Packers, Bengals, and the Pats.

My Superbowl pick: Colts beat the Pats, and Saints beat the Packers to get there.

Score Colts by 12

Even though I am a Saints fan, I fear they will not be able to take down Manning and his boys.

Brees is every bit as talented as Manning.

NO has a defense problem so the Colts would score double digits but the offenses are a fair match up.

Brees is good, and the Saints are world class. But you can rattle Brees, and when that happens the offense can stall. If he keeps his head, it will be a shoot-out and come down to the final seconds, or OT.

I picked the Jets so I wasn't surprised Bengals didn't look good at all.

Now for the next game I have the Eagle that may be bit of a stretch but you never know.

The Cowboys were nearly seamless. I dont think the Jets will make it beyond the 2nd round.

Now the game that will determine who we play next week is coming up this morning Ravens/Pats. I took the Pats but the Ravens could win this could go either way.

I'm not so sure about the Jets they could surprise us all they could beat the colts but I don't think so.

Im still going with the Chargers making it all the way and merely hoping the Vikings:

A. Get lucky

B. Dont screw up too badly

C. Praying

D. Holding out for a major pig flu outbreak in the Cowboy, Cardinal and Packer camps

E. The games are fixed and the Vikings are pre determined to win.

F. Horrible storm and our opponents plane cant depart thus forfeiting the game.

G. Aaron Rodgers breaks his thumb, Larry Fitzgerald cracks his femur, really any kind of trauma that will help us win. Im not particular.

San Diego play the Jets next week I think we can beat them.

The Raven's head to Indy to play the Colts I think.

The Patriots looked as bad as the Eagles did last night awful.

Today is a big day for the CHARGERS AND THE VIKINGS I'm nervous about both games. If we both win CHARGERS have to beat the COLTS, and the VIKINGS have to beat the SAINTS no easy job. If that happens guess what CHARGERS will be playing the VIKINGS in the SUPER BOWL which has been my pick since mid season.. :-6:-6:-6

Sort of a play-by-play from Maryland, Florida, San Francisco, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Seattle and Iraq. It's fun! Chargers looked awful

3 missed field goals unbelievable he never misses. We didn't do anything right pathetic every play it just got worse. We ended the season like we started it playing awful football.

such a mis-match I thought. Too much pressure & choked

Fitzgerald was seldom used - and - and -

it's frustrating..

Chargers came out strong

I was hoping the Chargers would pull it off

I'd have to say - the field goals hurt.

Saints-Vikings, is gonna be a great game.

I hesitate to predict a winner, but being a Saints fan, I can say that I am already making plans for my trip to Miami.

I was rooting for the 'boys, sorta, yesterday, 'cause I thought they would be an easier team for my Saints to beat in the NFC Championship Game.
