Excellent speaker. Hopefully she has a good future ahead of her. If she wasn't SNP I could imagine her as a future P.M.

She didn't get the seat simply because she was standing as an snp candidate gives you an idea of the calibre of some of the snp. What labour can't get through their heads is that the one of the reasons the snp won so many seats off them because they are no longer a left wing party that stands up for ordinary people their camaigning style was to simply to talk over the opposition and try and drown them out rather than deal with the issues - scots love a good political argument and can't be botherd with bullies. Nicola sturgeon is also from what was once a staunchly labour part of glasgow. The leader of the scottish tories is an openly gay lesbian not really the kind of image you associate with the tory party.

Scottish politics is quite interesting at the moment.
