Churchill got turfed out after ww2 as people voted en masse not o go back to the "good old days" of the 1930's and mass unemployment brought on by a banking crisis and when being unemployed or ill meant you starved and were homeless. We're in the middle of another financial crisis caused by bankers and not a single one of them has been brought to justice over it and we bailed the bastards out.

On a bright note another scottish referendum seems even more likely now do you nthink the westmimster parties will ever understand that the UK does consist of london and the south east with a load of freeloading nations like the welsh, scots irish and "the north"
