I just fail to understand this.

Some years ago I was travelling from Croyden back to Worthing In the small hours and came across a bad car accident on the dual carraige way. The car had plowed Into the central reservation so I could not fail to see that the male driver was very obviously dead and the young female passenger In a very bad way. We did not actually witness's the accident so we rang the emergency services from our mobile phone and the minute we heard the sirens of the ambulance approaching, we drove away.

We read the next day that the young male driver was Indeed dead on the scene and the female was fighting for her life. It wasn't a pretty sight and those Images have stayed with me for years.

How people can do this Is just beyond me. :-5
