Uk Ireland

Post by capt_buzzard »

Looks like our weather is changing for the better. Not much rain here in the past two weeks. 17C in most parts of Ireland. It hope it keeps on that way for the next few weeks. I should have taken my holidays this week over to you guys in the US.

TV & Radio here is going bonkers next week with the 60th anniversary of VE Day recalling the momentous occasion of the euphoria and heartache of the day Hitler's Germany was finally defeated.

OMG, the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky TV and God knows how many newspapers and radio stations is going to bombbard us with this VE Day.

PLEASE, how many more years have we to watch and listen about Mr Hitler & Co. It would have been much better for future generations if the good Queen Mum, and Mr Churchhill had invited him to afternoon tea.
