wow...I just got back from parents evening and was beaming with pride as my girls done dad and I proud and we got excellent feedback, no mention of the conker selling and bombs

Get home, log on to FG and see I have mail, jeeeeelouise all this moola, Ducky, Mustang first the Carolly only gives me everything and then G-man gives me a stack...Wow.....If I remember right, I had $400 before I went out as mr BJ was very mean to me. I am going to keep $1000 for me and donate the rest out...Thanks Guys and I hope you dont mind me sharing:-4:-4:-4:-4:-4:-4

Go for it Chez! And doesn't it make you proud that your girls did so good? Just got back this week from doing the parent/teacher meetings. Everyone is doing great except for my daughter and will go into that later.

I play the casino on another forum Kaz and my wallet is always full, you can bet $1000 at a time there Kaz and so I get my fix regular, when I lose it all, as if by magic its full again lol.....certain someone is very kind to me....I like to be kind back and was sharing any winnings of the hunt with everyone anyway.

As this hunt now ends in just a couple of days I want to personally thank G-man for such a fun thrill ride through unknown parts of the FG!:sneaky:

This has been such an learning experience for me to hunt down things I never knew existed, to come here each day and try try again!:-5

And yes, I may have complained along the way, but everyone has to let off steam once in a while.:yh_ttth

I want to personally thank my team members, for without them, this hunt would have never succeded! Congrats to you all on an outstanding job well done, and the many long long hours you all spent doing this..........you put so much of your time and energy into this, and I thank you all!:-6

I wish the teams the best of luck to all, its been fun, exciting and thrilling, and we all deserve a great pat on the back.:yh_party

I Received stacks of donations in the casino.

Carol gave me a wad and asked me to share it with my team mates. Milly didnt want any as she doesn't play the casino so I donated Mustang, Idgie and Ducky with $3000 each. I also sent $100 donation to each of the Numb Nuts for being team players and keeping it fun. I also sent $200 to Kathy Ellen as she was playing alone here and $100 to El Guapo as he is always needing dosh.

I did not get my shorts in a knot and hold a grudge against whoever thought i was playing mean... i laughed it off as misunderstanding... and continued teasing and harassing everyone equally..

Im punishing nobody.

I passed on the money as I said from the start thats what I would do with the winnings anyway.

Theirs a reason I posted how much I gave away which will be revealed at a later date. Who I choose to give it to however is nobody elses business, send it back if you don't want it, I have plenty other worthy peeps in mind.

Lastly our team and a team member was accused of trying to cheat, we did nothing of the sort but it was still posted on different threads ON fg, thats when the fun was taken out of the hunt and we chose to quit.

For the record, Carolly wasn't involved in playing in the scavenger hunt... she merely donated that money to Chezzie... I've continued donating money to folks here all along... that to me has nothing to do with the scavenger hunt and who won or was the most deserved. Let's all try and put all of this behind us, though. Okay? This will all end on a good note, trust me.

Can we begin discussing how to improve this for next time now? What worked and what can be improved for next time?

i know that Carolly just wanted to give her casino dosh to chez for one just to cheer her up, and for two she knew chez had said all along she was gonna share any winnings she got. What Gman said is right Carolly was not involved in the hunt. I know Chez quite well now, and i know carolly very well and i know there was not an ounce of spite or malice between them,,(unlike some of the thoughts i had myself:o) I certainly do not feel rebuffed. I think out of everyone that has been involved in the hunt or not,, those two IMO should be the last to be made to feel like crap.

I had no idea that folks would become so petty and accusatory towards other members. This was a beta trial... some things worked some didn't. The main point of this was to provide a fun teambuilding activity for FG members and to promote the forum to the outside world. Since I'm the one who set this all up, I feel responsible for all of this. If you feel that you need to blame anyone, then blame me. I'm sorry that this has turned into this.

It's become like family members fighting over their dead grandmother's fortune or something in here... :rolleyes: This isn't even real money. You can't even use this money to buy a meal in Trunk Monkey's cyber diner or a beer at Spot's Friendship pub. :p

Okay, everyone can cease posting in green. I'm going with the top three teams and individuals that submitted 100% correct answers, those were the only three that had all of the answers correct. There was a question regarding recruits which may have altered the final results with third place, but I'm disregarding that and the bookmark submissions that took away from the scavenger hunt list. I'm disregarding those members that wanted to drop out early, as it was completely understandable why they wanted no part of this nonsense that a few members got started.

So here are the final standings:

1) We Bleed Green ( Chezzie, Idgie, QSDucks, Mustang, Milly ) This is your winning team! They did a great job of quickly finding all the answers and did it with grace and style, plus their recruits were the most active and all made the minimum amount of posts to obtain the full points possible for recruits.)

2) Wick3d D3vi4nt ( the 1st member to submit a completed list and all of the extra credit possible, plus a CRAPLOAD of bookmark submissions to her Digg and StumbleUpon accounts!)

3) Numb Nuts (FlopStock, Kayleneaussie, Kazalala, Spot) This team was the first to submit, but I allowed them to correct a link to the oldest post they could find as it didn't translate in the pm... otherwise they would have had the first submission, but I couldn't have given them credit for being 100% correct had they not fixed that link so I could confirm it. They only placed third because the first and second individual/team expanded on one question regarding the longest thread by providing a fully detailed outline of events concerning the debate from start to finish.

These are your official winners for the first annual unOfficial ForumGarden Scavenger Hunt 2008, but really everyone is a winner here and nobody is walking away empty handed. Everyone here did a great job and put in a lot of effort into this event. Overall it was a great success!

Just give me a moment to get everyone credited. I'll finish that all up tomorrow morning Pacific time. I appreciate everyone that participated and contributed to the success of this. Thanks!
