Ashley, how do you do vector in photoshop?

Or you're bringing vector in and manipulating it?

For the Hepburn piece i found a photo of her i really liked. Then I used the pen tool to trace her skin and color it in, then the same with the eyes. I used raster layers. I never got around to finishing it so i decided i would add some brushes to make it look finished, and not just plain.

I like the fact that's it's unfinished.

That makes it even more unique.

If you have Illustator give this a try.

I wish i did have Illustrator. I'm sure there's some way you could achieve that in photo shop cs but i'm just not that good yet. I still have trouble with shading skintones. Haha. That's why she doesn't have any shading in her skin. I haven't gotten that part down yet.

Sure. You can use layers and opacity.

The smudge tool helps to smoothen the edges.
