The Voice, XFactor or American Idol?

Post by flopstock »

I have to say that I didn't turn on XFactor, even to see how Britney did.

We like The Voice at my house even though they feel compelled to add the tragic and inspiring story of each potential contestant. I wish they would just let the folks sing and gain our allegiance that way.

American Idol lost us years ago with its intentional cruelty to contestants.

My preference would be The Voice amongst those shows. I like that it highlights the talent more than the others.

I'm assuming it's the same there in the States as it is here. Who are the coaches on the show ?

We Had Will i am, Jessie J, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donaghue from The Script

We have Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine.

My daughter wishes Christina would put on a bra before she falls out of her top, but I figure she draws the males in the audience so whatever works, eh?

Cee Lo, yep. Christina, yep

Had to look up Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.

I know Maroon 5, so yep but Country music has a limited audience here so Blake Shelton probably isn't that well known here

As for Christina Aguilera. Superb voice. I'll await, with baited breath, news concerning any wardrobe malfunction
