What song could you never tire of ?

Post by Oscar Namechange »

It's odd as there are many songs I class as works of art or classics but tire of them very quickly.

There are a few songs I tend to play over and over never tiring of them and this Is the main one.

The Verve Lucky Man Glastonbury 08 - YouTube

I was at Glastonbury In 2008 to watch this. I was there, getting down with the hip and groove kids. My husband sat at home with his pipe and slippers and get a better view than me from the TV coverage,

Do you have one or many?

That was fantastic...I love that song.

That Cindy Lauper song is me and my eldest daughters song, she used to play it to show me I was being horrible and she was really a good girl.

Her daughter has just given me my second great grandson.

That's a bit like modern jazz. Pretentious crap but no one likes to admit they think it is. Music for people that can't actually any instruments

Tangerine Dream - rubycon part 1 (part 1) - YouTube

Sad git that I am I even like tubular bells. Course it's all subjective innit.

I watched a percussionist do something similar a couple of years ago, Terje Isungset. He didn't really have any instruments - a Jew's Harp and some blocks of wood - but he sure knew how to play them.

Oh... Tangerine Dream... damn right, yes. And even Ommadawn if you bring Mike Oldfield into it. My word I like that album.
